Terms of Use
Effective date: 2026-07-16
1. Educational purpose — no medical advice
SuppIndex summarizes published research about supplement ingredients for educational purposes. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no content creates a clinician-patient relationship. Supplements can interact with medications and medical conditions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before acting on anything you read here. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something on this site.
2. Accuracy and evidence grading
We work to keep the index accurate and source-cited (see our methodology and editorial policy), but research evolves and errors are possible. Content is provided “as is” without warranties of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Evidence scores are our editorial assessment of the indexed literature, not a guarantee of any outcome.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of anything you submit (for example ingredient requests). You may not scrape the site in ways that degrade service, misrepresent SuppIndex data, or use the content to make unlawful health claims about products.
4. Citing and reusing content
We encourage citation of SuppIndex with attribution and a link — our media page provides citation formats and embeddable snippets. Wholesale reproduction of the database requires written permission.
5. Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound product links are affiliate links, always marked with rel="sponsored". Commissions never influence evidence scores or rankings.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuppIndex is not liable for damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, including decisions about supplement use.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
